Tea Tasting Ceremony

Tea Tasting Function held at Teasme. It all begin with friends from Tobukai Karate Club and Jade Software. We have also held larger event for St. Thomas. Learn about world’s most famous teas and make it to try after. Here are some recent photos of the events.

Tea of the day, Lapsang Souchoung Tea

The winner of the tea ceremony tonight is Lapsang Souchoung Tea. The tea tasting session started at 7.30pm, and finished around 10.30pm. It’s longer than usual because we all lost track of time. It was such a fun evening. This tea’s long name came from it’s Chinese name called Zengshan Xiaozhong. A world famous black tea with a distinct smoky aroma from the Fujian Province in China. The thick black leaves are pan-fried, rolled, and then dried over smoking pine fires. Pairs well with food. We have also tried White Peony white tea, Sri Lankan Safari Delight, Tokyo Lime and Four seasons springs.
