Bugger!! More broken pots and cups.
We have cleaned it up. The 3 of us, Shih Yen, Kate and Stephanie are still here.
Eddie has already arrived half an hour early for work tonight, so we will be open until 7.30pm as usual.
Fingers crossed, no more shakes.

We are very excited to see Christchurch’s new development after the earthquake. Teasme city shop is now closed because the building did not stand after the quake. However, we are axcited to see our buddy The Crafted Coffee Company’s brand new cafe right there in the center of the town. There isn’t much I need to say about their great coffee, food and service. Follow the crowd, they are simply the busiest ‘container’ there.

Ok, I admit it. We have had plenty of organic lemons to give away and we have been playing with the lemons too.
The fresh Honey Lemon Earl Grey & Honey Lemon Oolong are available in your cup.
We pick and wash our lemons. Cut and squeezed the fresh juice out before you. Say no worries this cold season because you are about to boost your vitamins.
Did also I mention this choice comes with a FREE serving of tapioca pearl or coconut jelly (optional)?
Have it hot or iced, you will be impressed!
These fresh produce are subject to availability.

Old Lotto ticket survives wash to win $250,000
NZ Lotteries, Fuseworks August 5, 2011, 3:08 pm
A four week old Lotto ticket stuffed in the pocket of its owner’s jeans, survived being washed in the washing machine before being checked and netting the winner $250,000.
The ticket was bought at Pak’n'Save Moorhouse in Christchurch, for the Lotto draw on 9th July and shared the First Division prize with tickets bought in Auckland, Waitakere and Hastings.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, says he found the ticket last weekend after he washed an old pair of jeans.
“I went through the wet pockets and realised I had washed a Lotto ticket in the jeans,” says the winner.
“I figured it wouldn’t be worth anything but I was heading to Countdown to buy my tea and thought I’d check it anyway,” he adds.
“It wouldn’t read in the self check scanner so I took it to the counter and the Lotto lady told me I had won $250,000,” he laughs.
“It was unbelievable, beautiful timing!,” he says.
The winner says he’s just been ‘getting by’ in the earthquake devastated city since February so this win is fantastic.
“I couldn’t even remember where or when I had bought the ticket and I’m so glad it survived the washing machine,” he adds.
No Butt’s Kicked – short film by Teasme & Tobukai Karate members

I decided to put together a 5 min short film 3 days before the submission date. The script was written in the evening. Some Tobukai Karate members and Teasme Tea Shop members were contacted to participate. Most of the footage were shot the next day in the afternoon between 2 to 4.30pm. We used the evening and the next day editing the clips. However, we were notified by the organiser the submission day was to be extended for 4 weeks. So we used more time to fine tune the film and introduced a few more shots in. Filming is fun and we all had a blast making it. We hope you like it too.
